Florida Baptist Youth Camp Report

Greetings friends and supporters of Florida Baptist Youth Encampment. This years camp season has officially come to an end. As we tidy up and clean the camp for this season I sit and reflect on the 4 weeks of camp God allowed to happen this year. In 4 weeks we saw many people in and out of the camp. The snack shack sold all the favorites day in and day out. There were tons of meals served in the cafeteria. Some of the best messages were preached from the chapel pulpit. Classes were taught . Carpet ball, pool, Corn hole, softball, basketball, volleyball, gaga ball and 9 square were played for hours on end. The pool was utilized every time it was open. But the coolest thing of all was that in 4 weeks of camp there were 70 people that accepted Christ as their Savior and left the gates of camp as a New child of God!!! And there were 9 young men that answered God's call to preach His Word! Folks, that's why we do what we do. We have been told how special this place is and I have to agree. God was here this summer. His presence was felt and His love was shared. God is still in the saving business and I am thankful He uses this place as a tool. Thank you for the love and support Linda and I are shown. Thank you for supporting the camp. Please start now praying for next year's camp season. Please pray for the upcoming retreats in the off season. Thank you for allowing me to piddle out here and do what I love.
